It cycles through your team in order (A→B→C→D→A…), but also checks availability and workload. If Agent B is offline or has 10 active chats, it skips to Agent C automatically.

Can I override the automatic assignment?

Yes! Any agent or manager can manually reassign conversations. You can also set certain customers to always go to specific agents (e.g., VIP accounts to senior reps).

What happens if all agents are busy?

Customers enter a queue and get an automated message like “All agents are busy, your estimated wait is 5 minutes.” The next available agent gets the conversation automatically.

How do I track agent performance?
